Offline-first learning PWA

  • Designed and shipped a production learning PWA around a pure deterministic core owning curriculum, scheduling, and grading, with platform and storage behind ports.
  • Proved that boundary by reusing the core unchanged across a React web app and a React Native portability tracer, sharing session assembly rather than reimplementing it.
  • Made privacy and offline behavior tested properties rather than documented intentions: no learner data leaves the device, and a gate blocks diffs that contradict their declared data flow.
  • Caught and structurally blocked third-party analytics injection at the CDN edge, then converted the fix into a build gate so it cannot regress.

  • Built a full-stack TypeScript app that turns fridge, pantry, and shopping-list photos into personalized recipes and meal plans.
  • Implemented an image-to-ingredients pipeline with HEIC conversion, Sharp preprocessing, Tesseract OCR, Claude vision, and structured JSON parsing.
  • Designed monetization and account flows using Supabase Auth/Postgres, saved recipes, Stripe Checkout, Billing Portal, webhooks, and premium feature gates.
  • Added production controls for provider cost and abuse: Turnstile, identity-aware rate limits, daily quotas, token budgets, and atomic usage reservations.

  • Coordinate features spanning multiple products, aligning shared components and release timing across teams to sustain a weekly release cadence.
  • Led extraction of front-end apps from a legacy monorepo into Azure DevOps, improving deployment velocity and giving each team clear ownership.
