Senior Front-End Tech Lead · React Platforms & AI Products

Front-end technical leader whose career grew from software quality and automation into React platform ownership. I set the architecture and standards five to six product teams build on, work directly with product, internal, and customer-facing stakeholders, and keep multi-product features shipping on a weekly cadence.

Math
Bearings

mathbearings.com

A math practice app built on one idea: progress is work you can see. It grades the method a learner shows rather than the answer they land on, and a skill counts as held only while they keep proving it.

A pure deterministic core owns curriculum, scheduling, and grading, with storage, rendering, and platform pushed behind ports at the edges. Privacy, offline behavior, and answer-safe hints are properties the tests enforce, not promises the copy makes.

  • Pure domain core, platforms at the edges
  • Grades the method, not the answer
  • Hints that cannot reveal the result
  • Mastery decays until re-demonstrated
  • Learner records never leave the device
  • Offline and privacy proven by tests

Front-End Platforms

Shared architecture, ownership boundaries, and standards that help teams move without drifting apart.

  • TypeScript
  • React
  • Architecture
  • Accessibility
  • Performance

Models in Production

I focus on what happens after the demo: identity, cost, failure handling, and user trust.

  • LLM APIs
  • Vision
  • OCR
  • Usage controls

Quality & Delivery

I use automation to shorten feedback without replacing engineering judgment.

  • Test strategy
  • CI/CD
  • Mentoring
  • Developer tooling

Cross-Team & Product

Most of the work is agreement: what we build, who owns it, and when it ships.

  • Stakeholder alignment
  • Technical direction
  • Multi-product delivery
  • Mentoring

If you are working through front-end platform ownership, reliable delivery, or where models belong in a product, I would like to hear what you are building.
